Notes for hiker:-
1. Please bring suitable hiking gear for tow (2) days trek & camp
2. Please bring food and cooking utensils along
3. Energy bar is needed while tired
4. Wear suitable attire
5. Bring rain jacket to cover your body from rain and to maintain your body temperature
6. Please ask assistance from qualified guide so your journey will be safe and fun
7. Apply for permit before commencing your hiking trip
What to see along the trek:-
1. Sunrise on top of the mountain
2. River & pool suitable for swimming
3. Mountain bird
4. Tropical Pitcher Plant (Nepenthes)
Safety:-
1. Do not hike alone
2. Assistance from a qualified guide is necessary
3. Start early so you can reach Permatang (7E) Camp early
4. Always walk in group
5. Mind the steep terrain area
6. Bring headlamp / torch & first aid kits with you all the time!!!
7. Descend to trail-head from Permatang (7E) Camp should be do it before 12pm
8. Avoid sleep at the peak of Mt. Liang; to avoid lightning strike
9. Do not under-ESTIMATE the mountain (it was the wrong thing to do)

Meeting point is at Yik Mun Pau, Tanjung Malim
Meeting time is at 0730 am
Day 1
0745 - transfer or drive to trail-head (Kampung Sungai Dara) (20 minutes)
0805 - safety briefing by ORL guide at trail-head
0830 - trek commencing via Sungai Dara Dam
> journey to Sungai Liang Camp will pass through a tropical forest, gradual slope terrain and involve river crossing
1030 - estimate to reach at Sungai Liang Camp
> Mini Irau is also known as Lubuk Hantu Air Camp
> A good place for stop before continue to Permatang (7E) camp
1100 - continue to Permatang (7E) Camp *lunch en trail
1645 - estimate time to reach Permatang (7E) Camp *camp set up + rest + chill out
Day 2
0330 - ready for summit attack
0350 - start to hike to Mount Liang Peak
0550 - estimate to reach peak *sunrise view + snack + walk to Mt Liang East Peak
0700 - descend down to Permatang (7E) Camp
0830 - estimate to reach camp *breakfast + packing
0930 - descend to Sungai Liang Camp
1230 - estimate to reach Sungai Liang Camp *lunch + swim + rest
1400 - walk out to trail-head
1530 - reach trail-head *clean up + transfer / drive to Tanjung Malim
